I'll stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.

Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will seriously aim to hurt him. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Taking Aim at Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Jake Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

However, the novice is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.

Forecast and Belief

The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
